There are five crafting categories in Arkandian Crusade: Alchemy, Cooking, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, and Construction. Each craftable item has a recipe that shows which position the raw materials must be placed on the crafting area.

You do not need to have found the recipe in game to be able to create an item, but finding the recipe yourself lets you see the success percentage of crafting that item.
